• Thursday 13 November 2025 Ringstead Church of England Primary School named East Midlands Champion Heritage School by Historic England Ringstead Church of England Primary School, has been awarded the prestigious Champion Heritage School Award by Historic England, making them one of only eight schools nationally to receive the honour this year, one of sixteen schools in total and the only school in the East Midlands.
• Monday 10 November 2025 ‘Loving and inclusive’ Cottingham C of E Primary School recieves SIAMS Recognition Cottingham C of E Primary School, has been praised for creating “a loving, inclusive environment” in its latest Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) Report. SIAMS inspections assess how schools foster a strong Christian ethos and how this, in turn, impacts the school’s life. The inspection also evaluates how well the school sets foundations for ensuring that the pupils, staff, and the wider community can succeed.
• Monday 27 October 2025 Building connections at Collingtree C of E Primary School Collingtree C of E Primary School, is stepping up its support for families and pupils with additions to its wraparound care offer and changes to the school environment this year. The small and welcoming primary school has transformed the learning environment to help build stronger links between the infant and junior year groups. Previously, the younger Reception and Year 1 pupils and older pupils were in separate buildings, with younger pupils having to move back and forth to use the facilities in the main building.
